Our founder Jason Gittinger is a Past-President of the Board of Directors of the Greater Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce. As such, he has served on many committees of the board; communications, executive, finance, membership services, nominating, scholarships, and special events. As president, he was also responsible for leadership of the office staff between board meetings as well as representing the organization at community events and meetings. Frequently he is asked to speak at grand openings and his staff and students of the music school he founded, The Detroit School of Rock and Pop Music were selected as the “Volunteers of the Year” in 2010 and Jason was selected as “Business Person of the Year” in 2019. His team has helped produce the music an audio for many community events over the years.
